Nothing of substance

Lately I have been feeling like I have nothing of good quality to talk about on the blog. I don't want to bore you guys with my school activities (hell I would bore myself) and my love life.... well, Lewis is gone back to work out of town so I don't get to interact with him much. Wedding planning-wise: not much I can really handle as of right now. I go back to East TX next month to do some wedding business so I'll have an update on that then. Other than that, nada.

Am I suffering from writer's block?

Here's the issue: sometimes a post idea will come to me at the most random times and then later when I am in front of the computer, I can't remember it! Or, as I am creating a post my words just don't come together like I want them too so I delete the whole thing. And then there is just those times when I'm staring at a blank page, watching the cursor blink. This is probably more like Blogger's Rut.

Perhaps I am just putting way too much thought into it and I just need to start typing away and see what happens........... Help would be nice!

If you guys could please, PRETTY PLEASE send me some suggestions or ideas I would greatly appreciate it! It would stop me from feeling like a loser in bloggerland. And I'll continue to try and come up with more exciting thing here at So this is what they call life!

Versatile Blogger Award

I have had the pleasure of being nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by Nadine over at Textured strands!! Aaaw thanks Naddy :)

Since I've been nominated I am required to do the following:

So here go my facts.... In no particular order:

1.  I like my waffles a little soggy. I put them in the toaster and then pop them in the microwave....mmmmm.
2. I was born with a clubbed foot. My grandmother kneaded it everyday for about 3 months. 23 years later you can't even tell I ever had one!
3. My fiance and I "met" in church almost 3 yrs ago. We've known of each other since our high school days.
4. I'm left-handed but I do mostly everything else with my right. Call me semi-ambidextrous lol.
5. I have an unreal amount of patience! I can go long amounts of time without losing my patience. Notta one drop! Seriously, just ask Lewis. He tests me daily lol.
6. I cannot wait to be a RN. Being a PCA sucks..... I love it for the exposure, but I hate how some of the nurses act too "busy" to help with their patients sometimes. 10 more months!
7. Reading is a great passion of mine! I will read almost anything with a good plot and lots of twists and turns. The last book I just read was "Children of the fog" by Cheryl Kaye Tardiff. Page turner!!!!!

Alritey, seeing as I don't particularly know 15 NEW bloggers..... I can't technically pass the award on. I'll surf around and see who I can hook up though.....

Back into the swing of things....

School started back yesterday for me! To be honest.... I'm super excited about this school year for two special reasons:

1) I am halfway through my RN program come October and I'll be completing my last 2 1/2 semesters this school year and then I'm done! By next October, if God says the same, you can call me Nurse Bee- RN!

2) Next July I'm getting MARRIED!!!! No extra comment needed.

These very important future instances have put an extra jolt into how I handle the next 10 months. I gotta go ALL IN! No holding back. So I expect myself to be the best student in all my classes, and finish planning this wedding like a BOSS.

Also I'm coming back strong with posts, I had kinda fallen off because I didn't know what to post or if anybody would even come check me out after I did post. Now though that doesn't matter to me, I'm going to post regardless so stay tuned :)

Milestone!!

I've gotten over 1000 pageviews!!! Yay!!! Thank you guys soooo much for tuning in and dropping by my blog to see what I have going on!!! My blog is only 6 months old so I think for me to have reach 1000 views at this pace is really awesome :)  I would like to up my subscribers, good things come to those that wait though. Does anybody have any tips for me and my blog to gain more traffic? If you do, that would be great!
