Idle Chit Chat

Today has been mildly eventful for me. I woke up early thinking I would get go ahead and get a head start on washing clothes (since the laundry room gets busy on the weekends) but I actually just ended up lounging in bed for a little over an hr before starting.... I owed that to myself for studying hard all week for my exams and my long day at work yesterday. Today I thought I would chill out and take time to do some of the things I have been putting off lately but here I am, 12hrs later and I've only really accomplished 2 1/2 things on my mental list.......Ugh, weekend why have you betrayed me????

Good news though: Lewis comes home to "visit" tomorrow. I hate saying that he visits, but he's technically been at work most of the year which (in my mind) constitutes him coming home visiting......I digress from that. Although I have school, we plan to make the most of the time that he's home.

Omgoodness! The Walking Dead! Is anybody as addicted to it as I am? Last weeks' episode had me biting my nails in frustration..... how dare the Govna'! Can't wait til the newest episode comes on this week!

Have you ever bought something in a store and a few days/weeks later found the same something online for cheaper?  Well did you then order that something and proceed to return the one that you bought in the store? This has happened to me recently and it bothers me to return the item after opening and using it, BUT it won't bother me to get my $50 back and only spend $8 online!!!! You know what? I actually feel better already......

I need to do an update on Operation: All wedding everything..... Look for it coming up!

What I'm tuned into right now

Everybody has a show or 2 [or 3] that they are officially tuned into while there are in season. While I'm not a reality show fan, I did find myself watching an episode or two of certain shows.... just to see what the hype was all about. RHOA: Drama. BBW: EXTRA drama. BGC: Stupid drama and classlessness....... Definitely not missing much there lol

I did however watch both seasons of Love and Hip Hop and although there ended up being unnecessary drama, it was a good show. Now they got the spin-off of the original show called "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" 

At first I thought it was going to be Ratchetville USA but it's only SLIGHTLY  ratchet. Can't really judge it based off the first episode lol. Hope it turns out not to be full of the usual reality tv mayhem.

I didn't get to watch all of the first season but I have been watching the 2nd season of this one. Alot of people don't actually like this season, maybe because Stacey Dash is gone? I don't know, but I like it soo.... and is it just me or does this girl favor Stacey just a little more than a smidge?

Yea, so I am tuned into almost everything on this tv channel!!! Obsessed is what Lewis says I am.... and I don't disagree with his adjective lol. I watch all types of shows from Property Brothers, Love it or List it, My first place to House Hunters and Property Virgins. Don't know when I got so ino this station but it gives me lots and LOTS of project ideas and helps me to see the types of things I should be looking for in a future house!

These are basically all the shows that I am tuned into at the moment.... definitely gives me something to look forward to in my days of boredom!

School dayz

Today was the first day of the spring semester at my school....... break officially over!!
Back to my NURSING STUDENT grind :-)
This 8-weeks we will be learning how to give oral and intramuscular medications.... Do you know what that means???? I get to give patients INJECTIONS.

I'm terrified and oh-so-excited at the same time!! This is like a major milestone in my eyes, to be able to do these types of procedures means that I am actually LIKE FOR REAL about to soon be a nurse!!! Truly a blessing to be achieving my dream at such a young age, truly.

My lecture class is cool, we are like 3 classes combined in one room so it's like 50 of us! And of course I get stuck sitting next to the butthole guy that knows all about the course :: only cause he's REPEATING it I might add:: so the entire 3 hrs I had to listen to him sigh heavy like class was boring him, click his pen impatiently, and scoff like he was building a MAJOR lugie <-----::do you still say that?:: Distracting and annoying.... dude just had bad juju..... I'll make sure I don't sit anywhere near him next class. Not to mention I hate those repeating students that act all arrogant; uhm hello you're REPEATING this class kidd....be glad you still have a spot in the program! Geesh.

Anywhos, I also plan to start my workstudy job on campus soon..... just still waiting on the HR dept to call me in to fill out my paperwork..... I'll prolly only work about 15hr a week so I can still focus on my studies.

I wish I had more of a social life :( I used to have one before I moved to S.A but since I know hardly anybody I've been confined to my apt. BORED TO DEATH. No bueno...... I hope my job can open up opportunities to meeting cool peeps.

Welp, guess I'll read up a little bit and then do my puzzle tonight til I get sleepy.
Yay studying and puzzle time :-/

Love and Hip hop: Why Chrissy hounding Olivia about Yandy?? Let that girl be cool with whoever she want to!! I feel like as long as she is not trying to stir up mess between them, she can be "loyal" to both. Emily was being messy by saying what Olivia was telling Yandy.... I thought you weren't in it?? Instigator. Yandy was wrong for putting what Jim does for Chrissy in that email.... that didn't have nothing to do with her, but oh well. What do you guys think?

Bored.

I've become extra bored being here at the house all day now. And when I'm bored.... I tend to spend money.

 This can be bad especially since we are tight with the funds right now. I'll be out of my bored space once school starts back but until then....... I'll be hiding my card from myself.


To curb my boredom, I picked up a puzzle from the Dollar Tree Monday:

And I'm making it my PERSONAL goal to have it finished by the 17th. 


Wanna know whats weird tho? I can not find the rest of the end pieces to seal off the rest of the edge of the puzzle. I think I got jipped.... Only at the Dollar Tree smh.


500 pieces (or maybe less)......... Yep, I'm beyond bored :-/ 


But I'm off to a good start.... and plus my babes is willing to help me out *SHOCKING* 
Today is the 4th so I got 13 days til my d-day, wish me luck with this one......


Love and Hip hop: Did you see Jimmy FINALLY popped the question to Chrissy?? Came all the way to Miami where she was to do it!! Aaww, super sweet :) She's still a mean girl tho :-/ but congrats anyways!!!
