Every since I got out of school for the holiday break, I've been throwing hints that I wanted a dog..... I mean BIG hints. At first I would hear a solid "NO". Then it slowly changed to "maybe after we buy a house," or "we don't have enough room for one right now." Finally I wore the ole boy down and he said I could get one....I was ecstatic! I was all over craigslist looking for puppies [and tryna weed out scammers].....
I found the CUTEST 3mth old Chi/weenie mix that this girl was selling cause she claimed not to have enough time for him. I had her send me lots of pics and even a video of the pup and I asked tons of questions, she even told me that he had his rabies shot recently..... he was too.freekin.adorable. We arranged for me to come pick him up from her house this past Monday after my interview, and I just knew this would be the start of something great.....
NOT EXACTLY.
To make a super long story short, I ended up dropping over $200 on him for shots [that he was SUPPOSED to have when he was around 4-6wks!!] food, toys, doggie kennel, de-worm medication [ cause he had tapeworms too] and other ish in like 2 days cause she didn't give me anything that she had for him and failed to mention that he had NO shot records! Plus he wasn't even house broken, which means I was stuck trying to house train this pup on short notice... needless to say, I was more than overwhelmed, quickly realized my mistake....and wanted to give him back.
Lewis was NOT happy with that decision... at all. He told me that it was I that "BEGGED AND BEGGED for this damn dog, now you don't want him?" Hey give me some credit! At least I recognized early on that I couldn't take care of him like I wanted to and was tryna nip the situation in the bud before is was too late, right?
::yea, like paying a $300 pet deposit too late::
I guess he wanted me to "learn a lesson" by trying to force me to keep the dog...... but I'm not 12. And you can't make me keep anything that I bought with MY money. And I have the right to change my mind! After all, it was MY decision? Lewis was tripping.
Lucky for me, the girl hadn't stop texting me about the puppy since he left her yard. And the day I was on the fence about giving him back, she sent me this 4 page text message saying how she didn't realize she would miss him so much, so if it didn't work out or anything else just let her know cause she would GLADLY take her puppy back; and pay what I spent on him already.
BINGO BANGO.
I called homegirl up and told her that if she could at least give me what I paid for him, the price of his shots and the doggie kennel back.... then she could come pick him up. She agreed and came and got him Thursday afternoon. He was EXTRA happy to see her, and it was like I never existed in his eyes :( I was a lil sad to see him go, although he was a handful I had gotten a teeny bit attached. A few tears slid down my face when they left.... hate goodbyes...... BUT I know I made the best decision for me in the long run.
Lewis will prolly be upset at what I did for a while and even said not to ask him for another one.... For a VERY long time. Blah. It's all good though.
I decided to get him a "Pain killer." Chrissy from "Love and Hip hop" describes a pain killer as something you get yourself when you can't have what you want.... or in my case trying to smooth over a situation lol
I'm going to get him a gift certificate to a spa so he can get a massage and his feet rubbed on.... I know he'll appreciate that :)
Sorry if this was super long, I can get carried away at times :-/

My love
Is gone for the next 2 weeks :'(
For those that don't know, Lewis is an oilfield mechanic at a company here in San Antonio. He works on the diesel trucks out there and the equipment they use to do their job. He got picked to go out on location to supervise the equipment for 2wks somewhere near Mexico. Lewis doesn't know whether this is just a one-time deal, going to happen periodically or if this becomes his regular schedule....we'll find out when he comes back.
I miss him already :-/
He didn't really want to go, but he knows that the extra money can go towards paying off his apt in Tyler faster, as well as other things. And we need to be saving for the wedding..... so, it's for the better.
I hope he stays safe while he's out there.... the drug war out in and near Mexico is worse than ever.
But my boo PACKS HEAT (doyahearme?)..... he'll be fine :)
Praying for his safety!!
Update on my friend from yesterday:
She told me her bf claimed he was elected "wingman" by his buddy and had to play along in order for the friend to get in good with a girl...... and he didn't say anything cause he didn't want it to look suspicious.
NOT SAYING ANYTHING MAKES YOU LOOK SUSPICIOUS.... duh.
I personally don't believe that horse ish..... but I told my friend to stay on top of that situation.... SMDH.
To each his own.

What would you do if this was you?
The other night (Tues) my homegurl calls me up clearly upset and crying. The first thing my mind said was "man problems" and I was more than right.
She told me that she just happen to be going through her BF text messages in his phone and a strange message stuck out to her...... so she investigated. ::trouble:: Turns out her BF has been going back and forth with another female for a while. They've gone on dates and he has been secretly meeting up with the chick when he is supposedly "out in the country." She was torn up about it because they have a child and live together...."How he going take out some chick, and he never takes me out ANYWHERE?"
At the time she didn't know how to confront him without him knowing that she went through his phone..... cause that can easily be flipped back on her for invading his privacy.......
BUT YO, THAT'S CHEATING. And in my eyes it don't matter HOW the information was obtained, if I caught you and I can PROVE IT, then you've been got!
She ended up saying she would call me back before we could make a plan that night, so I didn't know what she ended up doing..... until she called me this morning. Said she talked to him and was like "please let me know if you are talking and seeing other people, instead of doing it behind my back" and he hit her with the "I don't know what you talking about, I'm not talking to nobody" bullish....typical. She thought that he would stop communicating with this female after their conversation BUT NOPE he texting making plans to take her out on the weekend! My friend was like "I'm heated cause he sat and lied in my face and then is STILL talking to this girl. I want to confront his ass today" Then she asked for my advice..... SO YOU KNOW WHAT I SAID....
LEAVE HIS ASS GIRL. EFF HE THINK THIS IS??
But before you do, I got a few suggestions...... *RUBS HANDS TOGETHER*
I told her she should play it real cool and keep checking his phone. Forward all of the messages to her phone for some hardcore evidence. If he is supposed to take the girl out this weekend, find out where they are planning to go and MEET THEM THERE. Pop up, and scary the hell outta him. That way dude is so caught, he won't be able to form a lie.
::Dang, I've always wanted the opportunity to do something like that! Catch a guy in his flat out lie, CHEATERS style. Some girls get all the fun.......Okay, so it wouldn't really be fun then.... but you can definitely laugh about it later!::
She told me that she would try and hold out as long as she could. I told her to keep me posted.
What's up with some of these people (male AND female)??? They are getting worse and worse......I don't know what the current situation is with my friend and her man; whether they are on good terms or not..... but cheating is a definite breech in the relationship contract, no if, and or buts about it!
I talked to my fiance' about it and he just told me she was wrong for going through his phone..."that's what happens when you go snooping; you find sh*t you don't like" .... sad, and true.
BUT STILL
I Hope my friend gets him real good, and leaves that ass. Sap sucka.
What do you think she should have done? Was she wrong for going through his phone or is she justified by what she found? Have you ever gone through your mates phone? Should she leave or consider other options?
Comments and open discussion welcomed!!
